Monochrome Maniacs: Catching Up

I'm reading Little Dorrit by Dickens. I liked the texture of the book cover, so I started playing around with angle more.

This is a row of empty tables at an Italian restaurant where I was dining one day.

I particulary like your second shot. Nice mono's.

I am behind with memes myself, i have had pc problems and have been on holiday. So i am catching up a bit before i start doing the memes again.

Have a great weekend. :-)

Except for Bleak House, I find Dickens unreadable - makes great TV though.
The restaurant pic is good, well composed - altogether pleasing.

The book cover does have great texture. The restaurant makes me want to order up some food. It's time for breakfast!

An unusual, but inspiring way to look at a book.

Like both the photos. Did you catch Little Dorrit on PBS earlier this year? Like Aileni, my taste in reading matter is mostly other than Dickens. Have relatives who love him though.

The restaurant shot is very good. I like the repetition of the empty tables and lights.

I love the picture of the book! It usually takes about 5 attempts for me to read a Dickens book though.
